Material limits

Storage and files are counted across all your spaces. Uploading and reading documents does not consume AI usage.

Max retains the same material limits as Pro. Check Account for your effective capacity.

For all plans

• Up to 500,000 text characters per document.
• Up to 60 pages requiring OCR per document, included in the PDF page limit. OCR supports Spanish and English.
• Office documents can occupy up to 200 MB after decompression.
• The reading sent for saving can occupy up to 4 MB per request, including its transmission format.

Copying and freeing up space

Creating a space from materials copies their files and counts their size and number again. You can select up to 20 materials at a time.

After reaching a limit, you can still view, download and delete your materials. Delete files to free up capacity; split oversized files before uploading them. If you voluntarily move to a plan with less capacity, including cancellation to Free, and exceed its storage or file count, you have 14 days from the effective change to meet both limits. During this time you can view, download and delete your files, but cannot increase usage above the quota. You will receive an initial notice and reminders seven days and one day before the deadline. Afterwards, the oldest uploaded files and their views will be permanently deleted only until both limits are met; independent generated content is retained. Order is based on upload date, not last access. Freeing enough space or upgrading sufficiently cancels pending deletion. Failed payments do not trigger this deletion. Deletion never occurs before 14 days after the initial notice was sent and 24 hours after the final notice; communication failures may extend the deadline shown in Materials.

New uploads and copies may be blocked if capacity cannot be checked or a billing restriction applies. Your saved materials remain available.
